I was channel surfing a recent evening and lighted on this because I really like Ethan Hawke. After 20 minutes or so it became abundantly clear to me this is a very sick piece of garbage. I'm very disappointed Hawke would associate himself with such an awful project. The sensibility of people who make evil and sadistic films like this that celebrate and revel in horrible torture, pain and suffering (they're really the cultural equivalent of nazis) amazes me. And that people consider this entertainment and pay money to see it?! God help us! In a sane society the writer and director of this film would be institutionalized and under the observation of mental health providers. My advise: protect your soul and avoid this toxic mess at all costs ...
