What an awesome piece of work this movie is. Great actors and acting and the storyline has some exciting twist and turns right up to the end. If you're into stories where the characters grow and end up making the right decisions, then I highly recommend this one.

Cute movie with a realistic storyline; who as a child at least once didn't wish for different parents. Solid acting and some funny moments. Don't pay attention to the critics and check this one out.

Focused way too much on the family drama instead of the financial part and when it did go to the latter, I felt I needed a degree in finance to follow along. The original movie a layman could understand; this one was way too heavy on the financial lingo. Plus Michael Douglas isn't in this movie a whole lot and I didn't even get to the part where Sheen shows up because by then, I became bored and turned it off.

Bad acting and very slow. Only scary part was at the end and even then it was disappointing. Expected better from Craven.

Ugh! Turned it off 30 minutes into it. Didn't like any of the characters. English/literature majors/professors are the only obvious target market in this mess of a film.

This movie didn't get interesting until halfway through and even then Doug was pissing me off with him bending over backwards for Lena. Some bad acting and the ending sucked. Would've been much better had Lena been caught. This is a movie that really pissed me off because some men are this stupid and some woman are this crooked.

Horrible ending, lacks logic and animals are tortured and killed. Not worthy.

Okay movie with good acting. Ending a bit unrealistic and disappointing especially as there was no true reconciliation between Apple and her father. Storyline gets choppy at the end as it hurries toward the end with no connectivity between several scenes.

I think a film scores when it deeply affects the viewer emotionally and this one doesn't disappoint in that regard. Great acting and a storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat although there are several instances where the scenes disconnect a bit but not enough to hinder its momentum. There are some disturbing parts but imo that is part of what makes this movie work well.

The ending sucked but overall was a very intriguing and entertaining film.
