Listened to the book on Audible. Tragi-comi semi-autobiographical tale following a young boy’s upbringing in Glasgow in the 1980s. It is narrated by a Scottish voice however it would have been interesting if the author had narrated it. Damian Barr has the same tale for his debut novel and via his voice you get a more naunced performance. Maybe reading the book is a different experience.
