Favorite book I've read, and I'm a AP English student and about to graduate high school. The book was really funny and also legitimately made me cry. I feel many media, especially those for younger audiences, have difficulty making an audience laugh while also having sincere moments. Not to say NO book/movie/show can't do it, it's just difficult. Another book I love is Jacky Ha-Ha: My Life is a Joke (coming to think of it, I think I just enjoy middle school books haha). The book is super funny and I adore the art, but the "sad moments" seem shoehorned in without much care for the pacing or tone. But Henrietta's story feels much more carefully crafted and painfully relatable. 10/10 would recommend this book, even if you're not the target age demographic.
