Fantastic game that make Pokemon feel new again. In many ways I feel like this is what pokemon games always should have been. The new mechanic of observing, interacting with and catching pokemon multiple times in order to fulfill a pokedex entry just makes more sense. The top complaint I keep hearing seems to be the graphics and animation. Sure animations of far away critters get hinky but I can live with that. If game freak had taken another 6 months to a year to refine it, I don't think fixing that would really have been my top ask. I'd rather have more side areas to explore like randomized caverns or subterranean ruins. It's a cartoon, and beautiful for the style it's presented in. I will be thoroughly enjoying this game for multiple play throughs and eagerly hope for and look forward to more pokemon games like it in the future.
