Felt like watching 3 movies in that 3+ hours. 1 good and 2 bad movies. Everything is excess, the facial hair, the floating tongue accent, the color contrast, the ability to fly in the climax fight. The CM episode in itself had the potential to make Pushpa 2 much better than Pushpa 1 movie. But looks like the success of part 1 pushed the team to make everything high and beyond planet Earth. Avatar movies have more grounded action set pieces than Pushpa 2. The last 40-60 mins is cringe fest. The audience were getting restless teasing and making fun of what was supposed to be a serious situations.

A Scotland yard procedural, quite crisply written and elegantly shot. Acting is the only thing that feels dated, dialogue delivery was same from all the characters.

What could have been nice if not great, turns out to daft one. For starters there is zero originality in the movie for the people who have watched Star war and Mad max movies. Except the link of Mahabharata, there was nothing else refreshing. what was RGV and Rajamouli doing there I dint understand, The Graphics were good for an Indian Production house. I got tired of 2 words that were abused in this movie, *Complex* and *Units*. Dialogue writer could have used Chat GPT instead. Amitabh Character - LOTR Gandalf Prabhas Character was probably designed based on Johnny Bravo. They should have started directly Part 2 instead of building the universe in part 1.

SPOILERS The character Ranasingham is the antagonist in this movie. He is irresponsible not to secure his siblings a proper life or bring some security for his parents, instead he is protesting on streets for larger good. I see this movie brings out bureaucracy in system, of course this needs to be cleaned up. But the reason the conflict rises in the movie is solely because of Ranasingham missing out on his duties to his parents and siblings. Nachi drives some sense to him and he ends up going to Dubai. Somewhere it says he is diploma holder, so he might have plenty of opportunities in India if not in his village. There is no reason to go to Dubai, In real life, A CEO of very famous Automobile company was a Diploma Holder. Then his unfortunate death, yes it connected very well in the beginning. Then it wears out, remember everyone is eligible for a dignified funeral. But what the corpse gets in the end is not even dignified, even it happened to be Ranasingham. It was more of a ego trip for the protagonist to go to all lengths to satisfy her/his whim. The movie glorifies the body and disgraces the Soul.

Most of the reviewers mentioned that it's a good idea to refresh Chapter 1 before going to watch chapter 2. That exactly turned out to be the problem for me. Chapter 1 was much fleshy compared to 2. in Chapter 1 , All the non-violent scenes worked, like the flashback, like the bun on the road scene etc. Lead character looked menacing even with a pistol or a Sledge Hammer. All build ups were organic in chapter 1 except the Police station scene. Anant Nag voice. Chapter 2 let down in all the above aspects. Build ups every second minute. lead looks meagre with bigger and bigger ammunition. Flash back scenes with mom and justifications for the actions were not convincing even after suspending all beliefs. Why bomb perfectly working and abandoned Gold mines. Attacking Burma to make a point to an Individual, list goes on. The only thing constant in both chapters is the female character episodes, these were written consistently bad in both chapters, Cringeworthy and Cliché to the bone.

Outdated format of movie. Even the Melodrama works only Sharath Kumar (Father's) character. Everywhere it falls flat. Lots of dance sequences but Vijay is repeating same steps in all dances except Ranjithame which was only worthy number to watch on a screen. Lot of mishmash of Mahesh Babu movies and few scenes from Ala Vaikuntapuramlo all makes up the boring 2+ hrs movies. Go with a bag, there are lots of advices for every family members on how to be an ideal person

Telugu movies rarely touch issue of inequality within societies as a core idea in their movies, unlike Tamil, Marathi and Malayalam movies. This was a good attempt to open a discussion on those lines. The story happens in late 1960s when societies were much behind intellectually compared to today. So it is still a safe bet as the story does not happen in Andhra/ Telengana region. As a movie, it was predictive in many places. Bgm score was repetitive in second half. All the performances were good. For all those annoyed with religious aspect, please read history especially 1956 Madras Anti-Devadasi Act on Google. Many women suffered due to Devadasi system and the least we could do is to acknowledge that suffering.

A princess locked in a castle amid the forests by a demon and put under a spell. A prince charming comes to her rescues literally crossing few mountains and a river. The above fairy tale is adapted to the world of psychiatry and medicine and set in 1970s. There are flaws in storytelling as in liberties taken in any fairy tale. Watching in 2021, after Joji, Malik and other Fafa movies, there is not much scope for acting in this plot. Saipallavi was probably selected for Martial arts flexibility. A Royal family gets butchered and there is no one to get help from in the 1960s looks far fetched. Mystical madmen and women behaving weird, having premonition. The most important documents stored precariously, the list goes on.. will pass this movie for better malayalam and Fafa movies.

Tamil cinema is bogged by thriller genre, hero worship, wannabe sports drama, fake women empowerment. Horror...has been a long time since a light hearted one came on screen. This was refreshing to watch. Had some A humour, some worked, some were obscene. But we felt invested in the characters, for whatever was happening on the screen. Tamil cinema needs more of this simpler well told stories.
