Not seeing where all these good reviews are coming from The show is choppy in its scene jumping without explanation The writing is on “Easy” mode that every challenge and obstacle is easily overcome within minutes that there is no suspense The solutions puzzles and dilemmas are broadcast equally short amount of time The characters do not act as if they are early teens , granted Gruber is older based on mythical race, but human wise , the kids talk and think like adults or they have already read the Walk-Through cheat book Granted they are going for a “Goonies” feel, but come up way short The show has been written for 8-10 year olds to follow and feels like a kiddy show The books get much darker , so I don’t have hope that Disney will stay true to the source material
