Wow, people believe this is a good film. Firstly from a young age I grew up playing uncharted and enjoyed replaying the narrative and reliving the adventure. The film starts off well (the first 15 minutes that is) you'll see that typical enchanted start where Nathan is in a mess then it rewinds back to the roots and you see him talking to his older brother in the orphanage. Shortly after the film very quickly gets boring. Tom Holland plays the role of Nathan drake, which isn't a good fit seeing as Nate was twice his age and was more mature. Sully is played Mark by Walberg, who in the game is an elderly man who talks very little, there's a couple of times where you see he is a man of little words however it doesn't last. Unfortunately Mark walberg is also not a good match as he's half his age also and doesn't inherit his character traits: smoking cubans, carrying a revolver. Throughout the film they have enacted the scenes from the game with a lot, lot lot of talking. The film would be good if it wasn't full of talking, though Tom Holland is comical it just a bit dull because those that played the game are expecting a story which has excitement. To make this film good is very difficult: Playstation had a major role in writing this story, I would of casted differently, developed a stronger start between Nate and Sam at the start, brought Sully into the film much later as an older character and minimised the amount of non stop talking.
