I was super excited to finally watch this. It was a let down. Gone is the sharp dialogue, character development and history. The nuanced performances are no more. The Southern drawl of country wisdom is no where to be found. This is mostly naked bodies, car chases and cruel violence. Every once in a while Raylon wanders through with his sulky daughter. I wasn’t sure exactly why he was there. His character seems totally out of place. I might try the next episode but I have a very low threshold for bagging the whole thing. There are a whole lot of well written, compelling shows out there. This is not one of them.
