Absolutely adore all these stories. So funny in places, in others truly heartrending! A delightful read. And I've learned a remarkable amount of Welsh words that come in handy when I want to confuse people. (Something I generally don't need much help with, but still, a Welsh word here and there adds some seasoning to the mix. My own bara breath, as it were.) Well-crafted plots, and fascinating characters, and an ambience you can feel in your bones. (Or it's my Irish blood responding to all the damp chilly weather.) Please, though - throw us cat lovers a bone! I love dogs too, but would like a character who, like me, is a crazy cat person. ;)
