All of the old T.V. shows have become very boring for people who do not subscribe to cable T.V. There is a simple truth here. T.V. is not worth watching anymore. Simple and as plain as it can be said. Even the News and weather programs have become the most boring and silly form of telling the people of what is in the news. The dryest of weather girls and men are absolutely boring as can be. Here in Tyler ,Texas we have what is known as the breather. A large obese female whose labored breathing is a distraction to the viewer. Just the opposite is a very skinny woman who seems to pop up every three minutes while the news is being given. The commercials I have counted between most of the free T.V. stations run as many as thirteen commercials between four or five minutes of the program. When the commercial time is subtracted from the program the program has around twenty minutes, sometimes less and you can tell that time has been cut for the commercials to air. Free T.V. is not worth watching and that is the absolute truth. I dont know how many of the actors in these older T.V. programs are living yet, but I dont think there are many. William Shatner from the series Star Trek is so old and fat his face is swollen on a repeated disgusting commercial. The Lawyers have a Monopoly on the Ads as it is one after the other hawking their services. And the health care area is disgusting from the local hospitals. If you are not sick from something you will be after watching their continual soliciting for health care services. The program timing is off as much as five minutes and it seems that no one cares whether it is or not. You certainly cant set your watch by any T.V. station. Overall the whole situation is past being comical, it is Tragic. I personally just quit watching T.V. and watch the internet. If public T.V. does not die in place soon Boko Harum, Al queda, or some other terrorist organization may decide to attack it for its own good and wipe it out. Not too many people would be surprised and most would welcome it. In all the whole mess is disgusting. But , I am not going to subscribe to cable or any other form of pay T.V. This country is sim pl,y not as entertaining as it once was. As for the Mary Tyler Moore show , all of the actors for that one are either dead or so old they are near death. Nope, not for me. I will read, Knit, Sew, and play my harmonica for entertainment, or watch the internet. Those old days are gone. Why not bury them and be done with it once and for all.
