I think it has potential. For the most part, so far, it is better than average (and honestly better than I expected it to be)... but struggles with scenes that are more cringe than anything, and storylines that just get too carried away with themselves. Probably the thing hurting this show the most, though, is its connection to the perfection of 'The Boys', which came out of the gate running full speed. This series has some really big shoes to fill, and some really high expectations. It's just not there yet. But give it a little more time. I can definitely see it happening.
