JJ Abrams should have directed all three movies from the getgo, plain and simple! Rey should have been revealed as Luke’s daughter in the second movie, since much of the 1st film seemed to be leading up to such a reveal anyway! Instead, Disney made the incredibly poor choice to give the second movie to Rian Johnston, meaning Mr. Abrams had to find a way to undo almost every decision made by Mr. Johnson that didn’t mesh with his original vision for the trilogy while also finding a way to wrap up said trilogy within a single film, so I’m really not surprised by how terrible this movie was! TBH, it really should have been called “The Fall of Skywalker” but I’m sure they knew that title probably wouldn’t sell as many tickets!
