It was great that they referenced a lot of the old movie, but it just didn't hit the same. Felt way more dramatic and a whole lot less funny. The characters and vibe lacked energy. It was not fun to watch... which is why I only watched it once. Nice try, but y'all failed miserably.

I don't care what the critics have to say about this one! People hate this movie only because it's not the movie that they grew up watching in the 90s. That's okay because this movie was magnificently animated, fun, funny, and a classic for those who love family movies. If people would stop comparing it to the original and love it for what it really is, which is a completely different movie, then maybe they could watch it again and appreciate its value.
