I love Kelly Clarkson but the ASC show was pretty bad. The worst part was that it was obvious the contestants were lip singing and not actually singing the songs. The other part I didn't like is that they sang the same song over and over. Yes, I know it was about the "song", but this made it somewhat boring. Another sore spot was that they accepted gifts from different states. Yes, nice gesture but in some ways it looked like bribing. I am also amazed that the person who won really didn't have the best song. She might have had the best act but Allen Stone, Michael Bolton, Tenelle, TN and the gal from North Dakota truly had much better songs. So, my take on this (and I could be wrong) is that the average person who watched this show must have been teenagers. For these reasons, if ASC makes it to Season 2, I will not be a fan or watch any part of it. I will end with the one thing I did like. I really appreciated that this show included Puerto Rico, Samoa, Guam, etc. This was definitely a plus!!!!
