Really don't know what people are taking about. This show is full of all the typical tropes you would find in a cheesy 80s slasher movie...without the cool 80s music. The acting is bad and over exaggerated. The writing makes no sense and leads to the characters making non-sensical decisions...like taking forever to get up off the ground when someone is trying to kill you. Sounds like the typical woman running through the forest in high heels trope from the 80s. The evil antagonist doesn't make sense logically and isn't scary, nor is there any mystery. There is very little explanation or lore about this town or the families history. You just know that everyone hates one family for a really stupid reason. The plot is full of holes. This whole series could have been resolved if everyone would have just moved out of town when they found what was going on. Oh, this is not a slow series. They pretty much tell you everything in the first 4 episodes and it pretty predictable. Slow is like "Dark"...but that show was great and could weave a good story. Avoid this garbage.
