I hate what this movie has done to a classic.. I mean you tried but can't remake an original. An aged James Earl Jones sounded very low voiced for a Mufasa. His aged voice didn't do justice. His Mane wasn't full enough. I disrespect the intention. I watched this in 2022 and my heart broke 😞😞😞 This movie seemed so forced. Beyonce for Nala was an obvious choice but not heartfelt choice only she could sing that's why. The 3 hyenas very not funny at all. The only thing I found genuine was the beginning. I wonder if the cast ever saw the original to bring in the gusto. Timon and Pumbaa as the distraction in the end was sad. Rafiki said my old friend in the end for the stick, that stick was supposed to be there from the beginning. I cried the whole time and went back to the original

The movie was scary, which was a bit much, too many jump scenes. Her (Sister Irene) visions were more scary than the Valak. The Valak's entrance was not great. The Valak was more terrifying in conjuring 2 than this movie. The plot made no sense. It's like the makers focused more on the scary & not the story. The makers tried their best to make the movie a bit hilarious with Frenchie, who was only there so that the movie could play out to the first one in the end which made everyone go "Ohhhhhh.....!!!" The part about the bombing, that caused the gateway, is not true because a spirit or rather demon had to be summoned. That's why there are cults. In every horror movie, you will always notice either an incantation or a ouija board involved. After watching the entire franchise, I was eager to know why & how...!?! However the answers or the plot didn't connect much. The only story I found was the best, was the first conjuring. The nun was not the scariest as claimed but definitely the darkest. The movie was entertaining. But horror movie lover likes me would not be pleased with this one. I did like it but didn't love. But everyone has their own views. Please watch & judge .. !!
