The story is fine. I like it. However, I think the production has made a mistake on choosing Lee Jong-suk over Jung Hae-in as leading male protagonist. Jong-suk and Suzy have no chemistry as lovers. Sorry to say, Jong-suk acting needs major polishing. My emotions are not moved until the part Hae-in is saying goodbye to his fellow police officer.

As of late, I have been immersed on Kdrama. I love the deliverance of their romance, most especially with a norm of happy ending. Since this show is taken in South Korea with some Koreans (or Asians) casts, I have been encouraged to watch it. It has started on a good note but deviated from its course or from my expectation. Oh well, back to Kdrama.

***Spoiler Alert*** Jung Hae-in has been my favorite lately after watching some of his shows: Something in the Rain, One Spring Night, Tune of Love, and A Piece of Your Mind. His acting skills are impressive. He draws you into the story and be immersed to his emotions. Since the synopsis does not give much of what this show is about, I'll give a short narrative of it. Jisoo (as Eun Yeong-ro) and her friends are college students who lives at women's dorm and have gone to a blind date. None of them knows who they will end up with. As they enter the cafe, Jisoo has accidentally bumped to Jung Hae-in (as Lim Soo-ho). Then, love at first sight happens. Due to their situation, dating becomes difficult and complicated. Soo-hoo is from North Korea and Yeong-ro is a resident in South Korea. Of course, the two countries have different ideologies, but the force of love is unbeatable. It's like a magnet. It will find its own course just to be with one another. I love the story, but the ending breaks my heart, most especially when the cause is just one of political agendas (dirty politics).

Oh men! This is totally my cup of tea…mystery with romance and a tinge of comedy. It has become my weekend stress reliever. I really enjoyed the ensemble of casts. Im Sun, Mijin’s mom, and Gye Ji-woon’ investigator friend were the culprit who brought fun in the show. I long to watch more of this type of show.

Frankly, my opinion on this series is up and down. First and foremost, I really liked the chemistry of Son Ye-jin and Jung Hae-in. It felt like they were a thing back then. Anyway, for an international fan like me, I was so conflicted of Ye-jin's character. She was immature for her age. She was indecisive on many things as if she was a teenager who was still learning adulthood. Ugh! I could understand that she wanted to be respectful to her parents, but she needed to draw the boundaries. Maybe it was a culture thing but nonetheless. On the other hand, Jung Hae-in was the adult in their relationship despite of being 28 years old. He built his independency and rationality by growing up with the care of his older sister and living in the US. He taught Ye-jin how to be matured. Luckily, Hae-in was head over heels on Ye-jin. Otherwise, Ye-jin lost a fine and wise man. Overall, this series was a great watch because of the fantastic performance of the two protagonists. And now...I am so hung up on Jung Hae-in (who I didn't know he was a fantastic actor) since I have only been watching KJdrama for a year and a half.

Wow! What do you do when you are given a do-over of your life? You correct things that went sideways and make the best of it. What a fantastic series! 👍👍 Thankfully, it’s on Amazon Prime. I’ve fallen in love with the chemistry of Na In-woo and Park Min-young. They compliment to each other. Park Min-young knows how to deliver a good drama. Furthermore, the leading male protagonist has soothing and consoling vibe. His natural beauty (tall, dark, and handsome) is a sight for sore eyes! 😍 Please don’t go changing, Na In-woo. I mean don’t get addicted on cosmetic surgeries. Overall, another fantastic romance. 🫶❤️

This series is hilarious. I tear up from laughing so hard. A nice treat to unwind in the weekend. What an entertaining rom-com?! Park Hyunsik and Park Boyoung are sight for sore eyes with their chemistry rolling. Their eyes speak volume of adoration for one another which make their performance as lovers believable. I don't mind if they are dating in real life privately. Kudos to the entire production for a wonderful series.

After watching The King: Eternal Monarch, I am on Lee Min-ho binge-watch. Sadly, this show was not dubbed in English. Plus, high school drama by privileged kids bullying the unfortunates really ticked me off. This kind of stories I avoid on young adult books as well, most especially a love triangle. In spite of my troublesome, I enjoyed the love story of Kim Tan and Eun-sang. Kudos for Kim Tan defying his father and making Eun-sang as his world.

Talk about a long and winding road with lots of twist and turn, bump, and pothole along the way. At the end of the journey, I am nauseated, out of tissue box, winded, and trying to catch my breath trying to surmise the events. This series is packed of complicated romance, unrequited love, deceit, family feud, etc. I’ve felt deranged for the mix emotions I’ve had. Kim Hae-sook’s performance deserves an award. She is the best example of the saying, “Hell hath no fury like a scorned women.” 😊

I watched Park Min Young in City Hunter with Lee Min Ho. I really liked Ji Chang Wook from the series, The K2. Romance/action suits him very well. Loved the tandem of Min Young and Chang Wook. The entire cast performed very well. I was convinced that these two lovebirds could a real life couple based on their splendid performance. 😊 I recommend this series who is into romance that sweeps you off your feet, love to laugh here and there, and learn some moral lessons about kindness and patience.
