I can’t tell if this is a Hawaii 5-0 reboot or NCIS. What made the original NCIS great was good casting with unique and sometimes quirky characters. This reboot/sequel just seems too homogeneous and what’s really annoying is that it seems to want to pander to current unpc “PC” values. It also seems to be a mistake to have multiple scenes with the island locals speaking their patois/pigeon English since it’s understood by a very small demographic. If this was a locally produced drama for a local audience that would be fine, but it isn’t. Just IMHO!
