Excellent acting by Raveena Tandon in a de-glamourised role of a middle aged cop who is struggling with stagnation in her career and marital woes. Parambrat Chatterjee as an honest cop is equally good. After his stellar performance in Kahani he is likely to be typecast as a straight cop - reminds one of Ifthikar. Interesting story that keeps throwing up surprises and never has a dull moment. Raveena gets some moments of dressing up and looks good. Nexus between the corrupt politicians, drug dealers and the bureaucrats reflects the reality. A hint of romance between the two cops is subtle and well handled.
