First impressions are good, this place has been well fitted out for a small space and the staff are dressed that's the positives but it's all down hill from there. The door on entry is so stiff the wife thaught it was locked and you needed to put your shoulder behind it to get in.We where then seated at our table which was nice and clean and well laid out but it was packed out with other tables so if you want covid come here you're virtually sat on you're neighbours lap. The starters were nice and if anything portion sizes where to large,but my issue was that we both had a different starter but both where covered with the same sauce so if you where to return you're choice is very limited as they taste the same. The main course was the biggest disappointment and the main part of my dish was greasy and cold and for the first tim in my life I can remember I left over half my dish as it was so poor. Iam pretty sure if I had returned that amount of food anywhere else the chef would have been asking questions. I was also quite irked by the constant topping up of my wine glass while in mid conversation with my wife, this just made me feel like I was being rushed through to extract as much money from us in as short a time as possible. In short I will not be returning as there is much better serive and value for money close by. What a shame as it seem to promise so much.
