If you sat there saw the trailer and said "wow this is gonna fail" this review is for u Non spoiler review, 5/10 Before writing this I had to see what kind of genre this movie is, it says thriller/horror but it's more like a comedy/horror. Onto positives bout this movie, the main character is very likeable I do find myself laughing at alot they say and do in this movie, alot of other characters are two very likeable. This movie also references alot of other franchises that I had quite alot of fun figuring out if I get them or not and when I did I felt like a baby finding out that the square goes into the square hole, unfortunately that's where the positives end. My first problem is the movie is too funny to take seriously, alot of actors are doing there parts as they should be but the parts there doing is too silly to take seriously, the monster was not CGI well at all and makes me laugh everytime I see. There's also a conflict that happens in the movie that comes right out of nowhere which leads into scene that's supposed to scare through the "what happens when your too busy looking at your phone" kind of stuff, but this part also made me laugh too much aswell. I know I haven't given a reason why it makes me laugh and so here it is, the directing of this movie is like it's made by a kid, so when parts are suppose to be scary it falls apart because it's not scary to mature audience and so when the movie is trying to serious it makes us, the adult audience, see the flaws too easy, which sucks because the movie is actually gory when it needs to be so your kids ain't watching this. I don't recommend watching this movie if your scared of spiders like I am or if you think this movie is generally good, however if U saw the trailer and U wanna laugh then go for it

If your like me who was scrolling through horror films and saw the picture of this film but saw it was in French well let me tell ya something, hi Onto non spoiler review, this movie gets a 7/10 nearly a 8. Besides the fact it's in French the movie is very interesting to watch and alot of points are made very clear through the tone and emotions the actors put into there roles. The scares are made practically for arachnophobia losers, thank god I was one of them because I was screaming for mummy, every possible fear I had bout spiders were made in this movie. For those who don't wet themselves at the itsy bitsy spider then the angles and setups the director did is still gonna give ya a good spooking, seriously alot of parts in the movie is done in the background allow for suspense to build up. The movie also goes into some other topic which isn't over barring unlike what modern movies go into and lead to a satisfying conclusion on said topic. Anything else I go into is spoiler and I do recommend watching this blind
