Underrated album, underrated musician, underrated music genre. There are many layers to this album, and Ruptured World makes it very easy to get lost in the story that unfolds through these pieces. It makes excellent music to listen to both attentively and as ambience. A few lines from Before the Nothingness Abounds particularly struck me as profoundly and despondently and yet beautifully nihilistic: Entire galaxies collide The den of chaos erupts In a beauteous conflagration of colors The dust of eons breaks into further dust As inevitable as doom is rife Before the nothingness abounds
