Peter Jordan

I'm an unashamed Ian Hunter fan and loved 'Bed of Roses' when it was released so was looking forward to the album. On first hearing I found the other tracks less immediately accessible than most of Ian's work. I also felt that he was struggling a bit vocally especially on the title track where the power of the guest musicians seemed to overwhelm him a bit. After two or three listening I have completely revised my opinion. Guernica in particular is simply outstanding.
