This story/movie had potential but its obvious promotion (really, romanticization) of suicide nullified anything good about it. I have a niece who lives her life in a power-chair and she is one of the most courageous, loving, and selfless people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. While I genuinely feel bad for the protagonist for his disability, the message I get from this movie is that it's okay to give up, and that's not something I would ever want to teach someone, much less someone like my little niece who is living her life to the fullest.
