Francis Barry, who was interviewed on Morning Joe, takes the reader on a cross country journey via the Lincoln Highway. While I’m writing this as I’m ordering his book, what I heard from him in the interview was genuine inspirational and hopeful solutions that we can and will heal our nations’ fragile divisions that tear us apart from one another. Barry shows us how to come back together in conversations with each other that foster and accept each persons’ different views, while honoring our natural instincts to connect, and by doing so discovering new friendships that stand the test of time. Barry suggests we could gain new and healing insights by taking our own cross-country journey along the Lincoln Highway.
