Considering the huge influence that this Lou Reed masterwork has left on the punk, psychedelic, indie, garage and even shoegazing genre in the future, it may seem ridiculous today and ludicrous, but in it's release, it was commercial failure and was ignored by music critics. However, as master producer Brian Eno has said, "everyone who bought one of those initial 30,000 sold copies of the album started a band." With masterful and genre pushing songs like, 'Venus in Fers', to the controversial but deeply moving and captivating, yet simplistic in terms of it’s two chord progression, 'Heroin', this 1967 masterpiece's legacy speaks for itself.

Prince's complex, sprawling and eclectic masterpiece shows Prince in full command of his craft. With the use of a drum machine, digital sampler, digital synthesizer and his alter ego Camille, Prince creates an album overflowing with ideas, excess and creativity. Constantly mixing music genres in every track, from rock, to funk, to soul, to psychedelic pop, to electronic, to R&B, Prince always manages to do something new, different, weird, phenomenal but never repetitive, generic or redundant in terms of sound or lyrics.

Basically the TV show that all other crime shows or shows having an anti hero as the main lead be compared to, Sopranos has left a legacy that can still be felt even a decade after it's release. The emergence of one of the greatest and most influential characters, Tony Soprano, gave birth to the anti-hero character, a person who despite being a ruthless crime boss, was also a family man and a loyal human being. This one of the few reasons of why The Sopranos continues to be found on critics and fans lists as the greatest TV show of all time.

One of the greatest films of all time that only gets better with every viewing, this magnum opus started the hugely successful summer blockbusters and put Steven Spielberg on the map. With its excellent character development, chilling tension and suspense, fantastic camera work, legendary score by John Williams and excellent direction by Spielberg, as well as the fantastic minimal use of the shark, makes Jaws a huge highpoint of the 1970s and of 20th century cinema.
