I gave this movie a Chance despite the Latter, and it's not Bad at all, I actually liked it, its simplicity and logic is enough. Y'all should also give this a chance, you might like it also, as for me if I'm being honest, I loved it, For a First Movie, this movie was more than enough a starter. I don't care if the latter says i have a bad taste in Movie, the budget is enough, i think it's them expecting more, It's progressive and patient. Altho i am aware of the source Material and OG, and i tell you what, it's not that bad at all, most of them are overreacting.
