There have been several productions aimed at showing us the future of man's exportation of space and even reaching Mars. I think I've seen all of them or at the very least most. None of them however, come close to depicting the scientific, technical and human aspects of the endeavor like "Away". Away takes us on a ride that seems by all accounts believable. It's not just another series on space exploration show casing the latest in special effects. The character stories are deep and relatable without any one character dominating to the exclusion of the others. It's bound to get a second season and hopefully more. This is one of those series that I'll watch more than once. Bravo to the writers, director and the actors who bring this story alive.
