I was a little worried about the superstar cast of actors in the film particularly Jolie and Hayek not because they are bad actresses but in most cases it’s the MCU that makes the character not the actor making the character. Let’s just say the MCU kept its part of the deal. Moviegoers need to understand that this is an origins movie based on the foundation of Marvel beginnings. Also it’s introducing new characters never before seen in any of the more recent movies. Given that the expectation needs to be quelled. Very similar to Captain America: First Avenger there was back story, character development happening so the movie was at first a little slow, more dialogue intensive. It wasn’t action, action, action. Given that sequels seem to be in store with this new phase it’s important to see the movie with an open mind and understanding that what you’ve been used too the past couple of years with the MCU will once again return in future films with these new cast of characters.
