Expecting this movie to be like the games is not what needs to happen. Go in expecting a fun Action/Comedy because that's essentially what this is. The casting is odd and the plot points/lore was off and strayed away from what its supposed to be. However, I had a lot of fun with this movie. I don't agree with the lore changes as they don't make sense with the Canon, but it's not a bad movie. I liked it

I enjoyed this movie a lot. I thought it was well written and well acted. The Creature is genuinely horrifying and that's amazing. It was a great experience
