Beautiful, heart warming, touching and hilarious. Family and child friendly with some great music, a very clever story and plenty of action and fun. Will definitely shed a tear a few times.. possibly the most emotional and touching animation I’ve ever watched.. but wow what a story!! The best animation ever in my opinion. Absolutely beautiful and will never get old. I’d give it 100 out of 5 stars if I could! Please watch if you haven’t already..you won’t regret it!

It’s such a shame that I don’t like this movie because its cinematography is stunning. I wanted to watch more of Luca’s work since I really loved call me by your name, so I watched this one. I really regret it to say the least. I can handle gory scenes usually but the ones in this movie made me sick to my stomach. The whole idea of normalising cannibalism in itself is weird and messed up. If it weren’t for Timothee I would’ve turned it off, but I kept watching because let’s be real he’s eye candy. Also his acting in this is so heartfelt and raw. He’s probably the only good thing about this movie if I’m gonna be honest. The rest is such a waste of time and the plot drags along to no avail. Just save your time and find some other movie that won’t make you feel as if you’re close to vomiting. 10/10 worst movie I’ve ever watched

*SPOILERS* I heard that the ending to this drama was bad, but honestly I don’t think it’s bad at all. It teaches us about how first love doesn’t always last and that things don’t always have a happy ending but regardless we should accept it no matter how difficult it may be. This idea was portrayed so beautifully in this drama, although Hee-Do and Yijin grew apart after being together for so long, they still recognise how important they are to each other and how much of an impact they had on one others lives simultaneously. Yijin provided Hee-Do with comfort and company while she grew up alone, and Hee-Do provided Yijin with support and hope for the future. They do grow apart eventually, but I think their supportive sense of love for one another led to this happening. In a sense I can relate to why people say that this ending is bad, disappointing and upsetting. But I think that the ending sticks very well to the theme of the show in the fact that it is disappointing. It’s a part of life, sometimes things don’t go the way we want them to.
