Roma was a beautifully filmed movie with great acting. Very thought provoking and profound, humorous at times in a sad way. The culture of that period produced some very shallow, self-centered men, while women became stronger and more resilient because of that abuse, and it was portrayed in a very poignant way.
Btw, the scene where Cleo’s water broke, which sent her into labor (did one review say that she peed?....incredible!!!) was done so realistically, I could feel her fear.
It should win best foreign film for great artistry!
