A beautiful and devastating portrait of the one push by capitalism that tears apart one family. Story! Acting! Cinematography!!! But relentlessly sad.

I’ve never seen such a wonderful multicultural world of jazz stories. The skeleton for everything is the hard scrabble jazzy band struggling in Paris. I’m still in season 1 and it looks like we’ll be meeting every character more intimately as we go along. And everything and everyone is bound up in their need and passion for the music which is always happening. Really good!
