too many plots that get solved within 5 mins. the movie failed "show, don't tell" which made the movie unwatchable and you don't need to be a movie critic or a english teacher to realise that. What's the point of Deloris, Jeremy, Astrids dad, williem defoes character? the answer is there isn't a point. No character development at all.
The saddest thing was that it wouldn't even be good as a stand alone movie.
