Lighthearted and heartwarming this show has filled a gap that New Girl left. I get that many will be taken aback from my comparison but I honestly felt like it was a New Girl feeling met with HIMYM storytelling style. I love the original HIMYM, but this show is not trying to be a continuation of the original show nor is it trying to be a carbon copy the original formula. If you want to watch HIMYM do a rewatch, but if you are open to something new that has it's own thing going on I would suggest you give HIMYF a try. The cast is full of new characters who's experiences reflect what goes on in 2022 and I am excited to see what comes next.
