As a former fan of this show, I think it's safe to say that Riverdale had started with a phenomenal first season and the following two seasons began to disappoint. The first season brought the most twisting cliffhangers and unexpected plot twists that had us viewers on the edge of out seats. Yes, there were a few cheesy lines, but overall it was an enjoyable show. It was this time Riverdale became increasingly popular, and for good reason too. However, the second season began to fall short when the plots became confusing and scenes more and more unrealistic Now, Riverdale has far too many cliches and unoriginal story lines to the point where it has become outrageous. I was able to watch the second season, but I just couldn't bear to see the third. Honestly, the actors deserve much more than the lackluster scripts they're given.
