It's important for many people who have experienced similar situations where they pretend nothing is happening, especially in cultures where staying in abusive relationships is common. This movie honestly portrays the reality of being a Muslim and the fear of domestic violence. I'm glad the protagonist escaped her toxic ex-husband and built a better life for herself.
