The trailer is better than the movie itself. Looks like Napoleon is too big for authors; they wanted to put too much into a single movie, and got a set of high level stories about Napoleon. They wanted to show both drama, relationships and war, and in the end they got nothing shown well. Battles are too insignificant and it does not feel they involved hundreds of thousands of people. Moreover, some pieces of this entire cake are quite far from historical reality. Costumes are excellent though. Overall disappointed.
