I found this a hard but great watch. Hayley Squires is magnificent, and the drama tackles subjects that aren’t easy to watch or tie together in a nice bow at the end. Confronting & thought provoking. I’ve taken a star off for the court scenes which were simply woeful. I know that script writers have dramatic license but it strained credibility to have Godliman’s character do what she did. And what Squires then shouts back at her made me cringe it was so unsubtle. A shame, as if those scenes had been written well they could have been very powerful.
