The mayor contribution that this film has made to my life apart of the message in itself is that I stopped listening to the critics. I was shocked when I saw their reviews, ruthless and far more violent that any event on the film often more preoccupied on generating click bait phrases like "the mayor tragedy of the movie is buying a ticket". ironically enough, the movie does such good work on showing this particular characteristic of life, that being that life at it's very core is unpredictable.
The movie is visualy beautiful, the acting of Oscar Issac alone does give the ticket worth back to the buyer, the takes that show the passing of time are quite poetical and the writing is witty without being arrogant. I really loved the fact that the film is bilingual because it really gives that felling of diferent universes colliding at the end and being a Spanish native speaker myself gave me a better apreciation of all the actors performances, maybe this is where the critics went wrong, they need to travel more, experience more, suffer more, risk more, and be loved a lot much more.
