Sort of like the housewives of Beverly Hills with a Jewish twist thrown in. At times there are jewels of wisdom by Julia about women’s rights but other times just a lot of pretentious chatter and show off. The kids and husband seem uncomfortable with a camera in front of them (I can’t blame them for that) and it’s too scripted in my opinion. Julia is a force for sure and she is clearly in charge now of her family. I am not Jewish but have seen all the Netflix shows on Judaism this Netflix season (Shitsel, Unorthodox) and have enjoyed learning about the Orthodox religion and their hold on their people. Julia obviously escaped and she is shouting it out from the rooftops. Interesting show but gave only 3 stars due to the fact I think reality shows are fake and in it primarily for the money.
