Paatal Lok- An Amazon Original Series Review: A hard-hitting crime drama. Not only has it exposed the real face of journalism but also the game of politics. Intense and gripping. Yet at times slows down in parts and becomes convoluted. Lately Amazon prime has been coming up with such innovative subjects be it family man or breathe or made in heaven or Mirzapur. All the actors have done a commendable job. From character buildup to background score and screenplay everything is on point. Anindita Bose comes as a surprise package in the 8th episode. Wish she got a mention as a supporting actress in the credits. The climax seemed quite hurried to me. More details could have been given . Some unanswered questions still remain. Not expecting a season 2 yet..but it would be worth a watch in this quarantine season. Don't miss it.
