Loveable characters, teaches life lessons, inclusion of neurodivergent main character! I absolutely loved this book! I always looked forward to reading it and it was really difficult to put down because it was so good! Awesome plot and character development, I appreciated how POC characters had personalities and weren’t so flat. Main themes: honesty, friendship, balance between good and evil, grief, love. I gave it a point off because at the end of the book, there is a shocking revelation that I sort of wish was developed a bit more. I felt like “wait what??” And then the book was over. Perhaps there will be a sequel?
