Given that the film is based on a real hostage incident involving many mindless killings of the well connected, high society locals and some foreigners also at a popular Cafe on a fateful evening.
The storyteller has pulled out a decent film. He has successfully refrained from giving any explanation as to why the educated youth (who occasionally speak in English also) could be brainwashed. Otherwise, the plot would have gone the propagandist way.
Faraaz, a highly placed politician's son, shows some character, puts up a verbal fight with the leader of the gun-wielding killers and even when allowed an escape along with all bangladeshi muslim hostages refuses to leave in support of his two female friends, one of which happens to be a hindu. Quite believable version.
