Desperation grips you immediately as a larger than life, unnerving cop pulls over an unsuspecting couple in the Nevada desert. Like many King baddies, the manipulative psychological games start and they never stop. Grade A cast of characters, with David and Johnnie both providing exceptional depth and heart. The ending got a tad long in the tooth but until then it’s a non stop, goosebumped up thrill ride that took my breath away in more than one occasion.
