I liked this book a lot! It was very interesting with Olive and Nico’s (Her Dad) relationship. I love the ending when they FINALLY talk about everything that happened and why he left her. I felt this book was a bit slow at times because Olive was about to ask her father why he left for Greece when she was 8 years old, and she’d always chicken out. (Very understandable though, because I know I would hate having that conversation.) I also wasn’t a fan of the romance aspect. Olive meets Theo who works with Nico and you can tell that these two will end up together. I wish it wasn’t so predictable, as he was described as handsome with amazing physique and hair. Which sounds like a good deal, but in reality that isn’t always the case. He also repeatedly asks her personal questions even though she set boundaries, and sometimes he came off as annoying (But he is a sweet kid). I just feel like it was a little unrealistic, and there could have been more depth to the relationship and a more intense connection. But no hate at all. POSITIVE WORDS for this book! Great detail, beautiful sights, and I loved how you could connect with Olive easily. Good work Jenna Evans Welch!
