This game is amazing and there is to much to talk about here but I will say for the best experience start as your own character (as the devs say to do) because this way you get to learn your partners story’s with out having an influence from the prebuilt ones, this was you really get invested in there’s story’s as-well as completing the main story. Every choice you make dose change the game some big some small so you can play the game how you want (you want to kill the camp of the refugees with out anyone telling u? Do it somewhere down the line something or some one will link to it) the world is what you make it. Highly recommend playing in 35h+ in to my first play and I still haven’t left the first big area there’s just so much to discover.

Ok right I have played dayz for years now and the game it’s self is really good at its core but the only Problem I have with it if your wanting to play with a small group and make a base you will have no life from that moment on, someone will always have to be online protecting it from Other players and your most likely being camped out side your doors 6/10 times. This part you done have to do you can free Rome which I ended up doing and it was so much more enjoyable not having so worry about logging on all the time. 2nd reason you may not enjoy this game is sadly the played base, you will run in to people with a lot of decoy accounts so when your raiding and you kill them they will just spawn in with other accounts and kill you from behind. Also a lot of the people who have a lot of gear never leave the game for the first reason I said. If your a casual gamer this will not be the game for u.
