Full of authentic Maryland Eastern Shore scenery and Philadelphia architecture / interiors. The main character, Harriet, is accurately portrayed as a no-nonsense fierce fighter for freedom. It’s a purely American story about treachery, bravery, love, faith and vision. The script is masterfully crafted. this film has it all with minimal violence. I failed to fight back tears throughout the film. I hope this film gets Tubman on the twenty dollar bill. Oscars?
