The only reason this movie is 2.6/5 in Google reviews is because the demographic reviewing it is old enough to retire.
It’s a decent movie with interesting character dynamics and a simple plot that focuses in the emotional standing of its characters rather than the events being portrayed.
The timeline is undoubtedly messy yet not hard to follow. This definitely sets it back but doesn’t make it “unwatchable”.
The score is fantastic, to be expected of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, it perfectly enhances each scene, making them intense and weirdly soothing at times.
